Mission of Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and strengthening internal controls. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement across accounting operations.

This position is well-suited for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, global environment and is eager to contribute to both operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements and general ledger accounts
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company accounting policies
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with business units to analyze variances and explain financial results
• Strengthen internal control processes and support audit readiness
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives
• Support risk assessment activities related to financial reporting and controls
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is considered a strong advantage
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress
• Business-level English required, with German language proficiency considered a strong asset
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
