Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OAK TECH CONSULTING — VINICIUS DE ALMEIDA CARVALHO CONSULTORIA EM TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA, CNPJ 41.239.173/0001-44, Av. Diógenes Ribeiro de Lima 2001, Apt 4 Bloco 45, Alto de Pinheiros, São Paulo/SP, 05458-901, Brazil ("we", "us", "our") — collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use find-best-job (the "Service"). We act as the data controller and process your data in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law No. 13.709/2018 — "LGPD").

1. Data we collect

  • Profile and résumé data — the CV/résumé you upload and the personal, professional and educational information extracted from it or added by you (name, contact details, work history, skills).
  • Answer Library and application answers — the canonical answers you provide for application questions (for example salary expectations, availability, work authorization) and the data submitted in each application.
  • Job-application data — the roles discovered, fit scores, application status, screenshots taken as evidence, and timestamps.
  • Email data — the contents of the dedicated applications mailbox, which receives mail only (confirmations and recruiter messages), and the personal email address associated with your account.
  • Platform credentials — usernames and passwords for the hiring platforms the agent uses on your behalf, stored encrypted.
  • Account and billing data — your login identifiers and subscription information. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
  • Technical and usage data — logs and device/connection information needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Where you came from — which advertisement, campaign or link brought you to us, kept in a first-party cookie on your first visit and recorded on your account when you create one; we do not share it with third parties beyond the ads measurement described in sections 4 and 9, and it is deleted with your account.

2. Why we use your data and legal basis

We process your data to provide the Service — discovering roles, scoring fit, applying on your behalf and managing the applications mailbox — and to bill, support and secure it. Under the LGPD (art. 7), our legal bases are: performance of the contract with you (to operate the Service you signed up for); your consent, where required (for example to store credentials and act on your behalf); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); and compliance with legal obligations.

3. How the agent acts on your behalf

To apply for jobs, the Service uses the information you provide to fill in and submit application forms and, where needed, to register accounts on hiring platforms. It submits only the information you have provided and does not fabricate answers. The applications mailbox is inbound only: the Service reads and classifies the mail employers send there and shows it to you alongside the evidence for every application, and it never sends email in your name.

4. Data sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the Service:

  • Job platforms and ATS you choose to apply through receive the application data you authorize us to submit on your behalf.
  • Subprocessors that provide our infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and storage, Stripe for payment processing, and Clerk for authentication.
  • Google, which receives the measurement of our own advertising through its tag — subject to the consent choice described in section 9. Microsoft Clarity for product analytics — heatmaps and session replay showing how the site and the dashboard are used. Content inside the dashboard is masked before it is recorded, so your résumé, your answers and the screenshots of your applications are not captured. Loaded only with your consent.
  • Authorities, where required to comply with a legal obligation or valid legal process.

5. Encryption of credentials

Platform credentials you entrust to the agent are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the automated processes that need them to apply on your behalf.

6. International transfer of data

Our infrastructure runs on AWS in the us-east-1 region (United States), so your data may be processed outside Brazil. Where the LGPD requires it, such transfers are carried out with appropriate safeguards to protect your data.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account or request erasure, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes.

8. Your rights under the LGPD

You have the right, among others, to confirm the existence of processing; access your data; correct incomplete or inaccurate data; anonymize, block or delete unnecessary data; export or port your data; obtain information about data sharing; and withdraw consent.

Two of these rights are self-serve and take effect immediately: from the danger zone in your dashboard settings you can export everything we hold about you as a single file, or delete your account and its data outright. No request to us is needed for either. For anything else, or if you prefer to ask a person, contact us at support@find-best-job.com; we will respond within the timeframes set by the LGPD.

9. Cookies

The Service uses two kinds of cookie. Those necessary to operate the site and keep you signed in are always active. Analytics and advertising cookies — the heatmaps and session recordings described in section 4, and the measurement of our own ads — are optional and are only ever written after you accept them in the bar shown on your first visit. Google's measurement tag is present on every page load but starts in a consent-denied mode in which it writes nothing to your device and stores no identifier; declining keeps it that way, and leaves the Service fully functional. Session recording is not loaded at all without your acceptance. You may change that answer at any time through the Cookie choice link in the footer, and you can also control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption, access controls and logging — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the authorities of incidents as required by law.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you.
