About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized *Accounting Clerk *to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks, including invoice processing, data entry, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process, verify, and enter vendor invoices and customer billing into the accounting system.
• Match invoices with purchase orders, work orders, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with invoice preparation, billing, and payment tracking.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collections.
• Organize and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Assist with month-end procedures and general accounting duties.
• Communicate with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is an asset; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
