*About Downsview Chrysler*

Downsview Chrysler has been serving the GTA since 1959 and is the largest and longest-standing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealership in Toronto. Behind our busy showroom is a hard-working office team that keeps the business running ? and we?re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join it. This is a hands-on role for someone who is great with numbers, trustworthy with cash, and happy to step up to the front desk when needed.

*What you?ll do*

• *Accounts receivable ? *process and post incoming payments (cash, cheque, and card), keep AR records accurate, and work within our financial policies and procedures.
• *Daily banking & deposits ? *prepare daily bank deposits and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
• *Billing & collections ? *prepare invoices and statements, send reminders, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies by reviewing payment history and credit terms.
• *Bank reconciliation ? *reconcile the AR ledger and bank accounts so every payment is accounted for and properly posted, and assist with month-end and reporting.
• *Reception relief ? *cover the front desk during breaks: greet customers, and answer and direct calls.
• *General office support ? *data entry, filing, and keeping company and customer information confidential.

*What you bring*

• Previous experience as an accounts receivable clerk, bookkeeper, or in a similar accounting role.
• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and credit and collection practices.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting/dealership software (Serti or another DMS is an asset).
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and trustworthiness handling cash and confidential information.
• A friendly, professional manner for greeting customers and answering the phone.
• The ability to stay organized and juggle deadlines with interruptions.
• Chrysler dealership and/or Serti experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business is an asset.
