AEM Backend Developer Brazil

GUT , the award-winning global creative network powered by Globant , is looking for a Backend Developer with Adobe AEM Experience to join a team that combines creativity, technology, and innovation to deliver high-impact digital experiences.

What will you do:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) .
• Build and customize AEM components, services, workflows, and backend functionalities.
• Develop and maintain integrations between AEM and third-party systems and services.
• Work with Java, OSGi services, Apache Sling, and JCR to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Develop and consume APIs to support content delivery and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, test, and document code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Apply AEM development best practices focused on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups within an Agile environment.
• Provide technical support for AEM-related issues across development, QA, and production environments.

What will help you succeed:

• Strong experience in backend development using Java .
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development.
• Solid understanding of OSGi, Apache Sling, and Java Content Repository (JCR) .
• Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and system integrations.
• Knowledge of AEM architecture, services, workflows, and content delivery mechanisms.
• Experience with enterprise-level applications and scalable backend solutions.
• Strong foundation in software design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and international stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency is mandatory. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English in a professional environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEM Cloud) .
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager Sites and Assets.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-based environments.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience supporting customer-facing digital products and large-scale enterprise applications.
