Assistant Ground Instructor

About the role Layang Layang Flying Academy is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Ground Instructor to support ground school instruction and theoretical knowledge training for student pilots . The successful candidate will assist in delivering aviation training, monitoring student progress and maintaining training standards in accordance with the Academy's approved training programmes and applicable CAAM requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver aviation theoretical knowledge lessons to student pilots.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations and instructional materials in accordance with the approved training syllabus.
• Support student assessments, monitor learning progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain student attendance, assessment results and training records.
• Ensure training activities comply with the Academy's approved procedures and applicable CAAM requirements.
• Participate in instructor meetings, training reviews and standardisation activities.
• Perform other duties related to ground school and flight training as assigned by the Chief Ground Instructor.

About you

• Holds a CAAM Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to be based in Sarawak
