Automation Engineer – Level I

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Automation Engineer – Level I based in United States.

This role focuses on analyzing legacy state systems and translating complex business rules into clear requirements for a modernized Integrated Eligibility System (IES). You will help uncover, validate, and document rules across existing systems while determining which should be retained or retired. The position combines automation engineering, business analysis, requirements management, and workflow documentation.

You will collaborate closely with agency stakeholders, subject matter experts, end users, and vendor teams throughout the modernization effort. Your work will help ensure that critical eligibility, enrollment, and case-management processes are accurately represented in the future-state solution. This is a long-term engagement offering significant involvement in a large-scale technology modernization program.
