Azure Security Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Azure Security Architect based in the United States.

The Azure Security Architect will provide strategic security architecture oversight for large-scale transformation initiatives, with a focus on cloud environments and finance systems modernization. This role is responsible for evaluating solution designs, identifying security risks, and ensuring that technology implementations meet enterprise security, governance, resiliency, and compliance standards.

You will assess Microsoft Azure environments, enterprise identity systems, data platforms, integrations, and financial applications throughout key project milestones. Working closely with Finance, Infrastructure, Compliance, Governance, and external partners, you will translate complex technical risks into actionable recommendations for project leaders and executives.

The position combines hands-on architecture assessment with strategic advisory responsibilities in a regulated enterprise environment. This is a remote contract opportunity based in Kansas, with periodic participation in project and governance meetings.
