Position: Business Analyst Location: Toronto Canada Hybrid Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description*

• Support account hosting and end-to-end accounting flows for Deposit business
• Maintain the system of record for:
• Customer accounts
• Ledger postings
• Balance management
• Data Provisioning for Downstream Systems
• Provide reliable and timely data feeds to downstream systems, including:
• Account information (e.g., account status, product, ownership)
• Transaction information (e.g., bookings, postings, history)
• Balance information (e.g., available, ledger, intraday balances)
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and auditability
• Perform end-to-end business validation on accounting workflows, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Desired skills*

• Primary skills of accounting (GAAP/ IFRS basics, journal entries, financial controls, balance etc).
• Accounting workflows like AP, AR, GL etc
• Experience in SOX compliance
