About The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join a growing financial services company specializing in commercial financing and equipment leasing.

This position focuses on reviewing credit applications, analyzing financial information, and evaluating creditworthiness to support business financing decisions.

The ideal candidate has a background in credit analysis, financial analysis, commercial lending, or a related financial services field.

Extensive equipment financing experience is not required. We welcome candidates with transferable financial and analytical skills who are looking to grow their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer credit applications to determine creditworthiness.
• Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and supporting financial documentation.
• Assess financial risk and provide recommendations regarding financing decisions.
• Prepare credit analysis reports, transaction summaries, and financing packages.
• Research customer financial backgrounds using credit agencies, banking references, and other resources.
• Assist with commercial financing and equipment leasing transactions.
• Support financial calculations, transaction pricing, and present value analysis.
• Collaborate with sales and credit teams to process financing applications.
• Maintain accurate credit files and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, commercial lending, underwriting, or a related financial field preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles.
• Ability to evaluate financial information and identify potential credit risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Equipment financing or leasing experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation
