Director, Inpatient Coding and Compliance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Inpatient Coding and Compliance based in the United States.

This senior leadership role provides administrative direction for inpatient coding, clinical documentation enhancement, data quality, and medical information management compliance. You’ll oversee programs that directly support accurate clinical data, billing, reimbursement, patient care, research, and operational decision-making.

The role manages teams, policies, processes, and compliance activities across a complex healthcare environment. You’ll analyze coding and documentation performance, identify improvement opportunities, and develop recommendations that strengthen quality and accuracy. You’ll also collaborate with clinical, financial, case management, revenue, and data teams to address issues and support organizational priorities.

This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity requiring strong expertise in healthcare coding, compliance, documentation, and health information management.
