Director of Communications

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Communications based in the United States.

Lead strategic communications and media relations at the intersection of public policy, technology, and public safety. In this high-visibility role, you will shape the organization’s Washington, D.C. narrative, build trusted relationships with influential journalists, and anticipate how congressional developments could affect public perception and business priorities.

You will work closely with government affairs, legal, and executive leadership to prepare clear, fact-based messaging on complex policy issues. Combining strategic judgment with hands-on execution, you will lead media outreach, prepare executives for high-stakes conversations, and respond proactively to emerging stories. You will also help strengthen crisis, corporate, and product communications when needed.
