Director of Global Event Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Global Event Marketing based in Canada.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on marketing leader to build and scale a global event marketing program for a B2B technology business serving conference organizers and event professionals. In this player-coach role, you will oversee the full event portfolio, including industry trade shows, sponsored conferences, exclusive customer gatherings, and the development of a first annual user conference.

You will combine strategic planning with hands-on execution, managing budgets, vendors, messaging, logistics, and performance measurement. Working closely with Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing Operations, you will turn events into measurable drivers of pipeline, revenue, and customer engagement.

This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded marketer who values autonomy, operational excellence, and data-backed decisions. The role is remote within Canada, with travel approximately once a month across North America and Europe.
