Director of Technical Accounting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Technical Accounting based in United States.

This is a highly visible technical accounting leadership role within a remote-first, globally distributed environment shaping the future of digital finance. You will serve as a subject-matter expert on U.S. GAAP and guide the accounting treatment of complex, non-routine, and emerging transactions.

The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic partnership across Finance, Legal, FP&A, Treasury, and business teams. You will play a key role in addressing accounting questions involving digital assets, blockchain-based products, M&A, financing arrangements, and new products.

With direct exposure to senior leadership and external auditors, your work will influence accounting policies, controls, reporting, and business decisions. This is an opportunity to help build technical accounting capabilities in a rapidly evolving Web3 and fintech environment.
