DMS Product Manager (m/f)

IT House is recruiting a DMS Product Manager for a confidential client engagement in the automotive sector, based in Lisbon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define product goals and manage roadmap for Dealer Management Solutions (DMSs) in alignment with strategy;
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and legal requirements to inform product direction;
• Manage backlog and priorities (Epics and Features), ensuring healthy mix of innovation, efficiencies, and maintenance;
• Prioritize development work each sprint to deliver maximum customer value;
• Approve delivery of finished solutions and manage pilot phases for main releases;
• Collaborate with deployment, sales, and customer teams on releases and pre-sales activities;
• Lead team meetings, define performance objectives, and conduct employee interviews;
• Manage staffing needs, training, development, and competency matrices;
• Work cross-functionally with Development, XS, Professional Services, Customer Support, Sales, and Marketing.

PROFILE

• Strong knowledge of the automotive business and DMS solutions;
• Experience in product management, ideally with DMS or enterprise software platforms;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Excellent ability to articulate requirements and business workflows;
• Strong cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration skills;
• Team spirit with proactive problem-solving mindset;
• Leadership and people management experience;
• Fluent English (mandatory); other European languages a plus.
