Domain Trainer

Job Summary The Aviation Domain Trainer will be responsible for delivering aviation-related training to candidates under the DDU-GKY project, focusing on aviation industry knowledge, airport operations, customer service, safety awareness, and employability skills to prepare candidates for relevant entry-level aviation roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training on aviation fundamentals, airport operations, airline services, and ground handling.
• Explain airport procedures, passenger handling, check-in processes, boarding, baggage handling, and customer service.
• Provide basic aviation safety, security awareness, emergency response awareness, and professional grooming training.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, training materials, and practical exercises.
• Conduct assessments, mock interviews, role-plays, and practical evaluations.
• Maintain trainee attendance, progress reports, assessment records, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with the Centre Head and project team to ensure timely completion of the training curriculum.
• Support trainees in interview preparation, communication skills, and placement readiness.
• Ensure training delivery and documentation comply with applicable DDU-GKY project guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; aviation, travel, tourism, hospitality, or related qualifications will be preferred.
• Prior experience in the aviation industry, particularly airport operations, ground handling, passenger services, or airline customer service.
• Experience as an aviation trainer or vocational skills trainer will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and documentation skills.
