Electrician Apprentice -Spectra

About the Role STRATA Networks is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Electrician Apprentice to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside journeyman and master electricians while supporting reliable electrical operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Assist journeyman and master electricians with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform general labor duties, including digging trenches and holes for conduit and electrical supports.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and applicable electrical codes.
• Document completed work and communicate project updates as needed.
• Provide on-call support to clients and assist with troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Follow industry safety standards and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team

To be successful, you’ll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• An Electrical Trainee Certification.
• Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Work Environment and Conditions

• Regular schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Participation in 24/7 on-call rotations as scheduled.
• Work at client locations and potentially hazardous job sites.
• Work around electrical systems, construction equipment, and other occupational hazards.
• Use appropriate PPE and follow all required safety procedures.
• Work at heights and in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Physical Demands

• Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting objects weighing over 100 pounds.
• Ability to climb and work at elevations using ladders, poles, climbing gaffs, and lift trucks.
• Ability to dig, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and electrical equipment.
