Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment. Prepare recordings and reports of findings for physicians. Review patient's case history and assess nature of problem to determine procedures and tests required.

Operate electrocardiographs, cardiac ultrasound and other electronic equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Provincial or territorial registration.
