About the job
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Organise day-to-day business operations. Load and unload goods.
Enforce policies and procedures. Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment. Arrange for shipping, receiving and storage. Supervisory Experience. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
