Field Service Technician

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Field Service Technician based in United States.

This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling natural gas engines and compressors in the field and shop. You will support gas compression operations by performing preventive and corrective mechanical service and diagnosing equipment failures efficiently.

The position combines hands-on mechanical work with customer service, documentation, inventory management, and emergency response. You will also contribute to compressor and engine rebuilds, new-unit installations, and start-up testing. The role requires strong independence, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing field conditions.

This is a non-rotation position, and candidates must live within one hour of the designated service area in or around Carthage, Texas.
