Field Service Technician - Level 1

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Field Service Technician - Level 1 based in Canada.

This is an entry-level technical field service role focused on maintaining the performance and reliability of precision measurement and metrology equipment. You will develop hands-on expertise in installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair while working alongside experienced technicians.

The role combines classroom learning, on-the-job training, and customer-site experience across Canada. You will work with mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and computer-controlled systems in a fast-paced technical environment. As your skills develop, you will take increasing ownership of service activities and customer interactions.

Your work will directly contribute to equipment uptime, service quality, and customer satisfaction. The position is remote, with candidates preferably located in the Toronto area and regular travel to customer locations required.
