Founding Product Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage AI customer service software team as its first full-time designer. You will own the product design process, work directly with customers, and help shape approachable experiences for AI-powered business workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work with customers to understand their needs and design solutions that address real problems.
• Own design end to end for new features, from discovery and concepts through delivery.
• Identify opportunities for AI-powered product experiences and build prototypes with customer input.
• Create intuitive interfaces for workflows where traditional software patterns may not be the best fit.
• Partner closely with engineers to ship useful, high-quality features quickly.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3 years of experience in product design teams, with a portfolio demonstrating your work.
• Experience collaborating with software engineers and a practical understanding of technical concepts and implementation trade-offs.
• Experience conducting customer interviews or using customer feedback to guide product development.
• A track record of designing products with direct business impact, ideally in B2B SaaS or an early-stage software company.
• Some exposure to AI or large language models and a strong interest in building AI-native software.
• Proficiency with prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Lovable, V0, or Figma Make.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual base salary is $85,000 to $160,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

This is an on-site role based in Berlin, Germany.
