Role Description The Full Stack Backend Engineer will design, build, and maintain web applications and services that power CrediSure’s financial technology platforms. This is a full-time remote role, responsible for implementing backend APIs, integrating with data sources, and contributing to front-end components as needed to deliver end-to-end features.

Day-to-day work includes writing clean, testable code, reviewing peer code, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing performance and security across the stack. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participate in sprint planning, and improve development processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building RESTful APIs and working with server-side frameworks.
• Experience in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to implement and refine user-facing features.
• Proficiency in Software Development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
• Hands-on Full-Stack Development experience, integrating front-end and back-end components into cohesive applications.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; fintech experience is a plus.
