Instructional Design Manager, General Assembly

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Instructional Design Manager based in the United States.

This role leads the systems and standards that turn learning products into consistent, high-quality live learning experiences.

You will sit at the intersection of learning design, product development, client experience, and delivery.

The focus is on facilitation excellence, facilitator readiness, product enablement, and delivery quality rather than traditional curriculum development.

You will build scalable methodologies, certification pathways, quality frameworks, and coaching systems that help facilitators deliver with confidence.

The role also offers significant client exposure, supporting key engagements and translating client needs into practical learning and delivery solutions.

You will work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment and help ensure learning experiences remain cohesive across products, regions, clients, and delivery formats.

The position is remote within the US, with up to 40% travel potentially required for international clients or other business needs.
