Junior Risk Analyst (Mandarin Speaker)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Risk Analyst to join our risk management team within a global financial services environment.

This role focuses on monitoring trading activities, analysing client transactions, preparing risk reports, and supporting daily risk management operations.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, an interest in financial markets, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of risk management processes and procedures.
• Monitor trading activities, pricing connectivity, trade flow, and execution.
• Analyse client accounts and transactions in accordance with company policies and terms.
• Review and monitor deposit and withdrawal activities.
• Prepare daily trading reports, risk analyses, and operational reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments to investigate and resolve operational issues.
• Assist with departmental projects and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication skills with proficiency in Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
• Malaysian citizenship is required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of financial markets, forex, or trading operations.
• Knowledge of trading platforms, financial instruments, or risk management principles.
• Experience with data analysis or financial reporting through internships or academic projects.
