Harrington Starr has partnered with an innovative Software Vendor specialising in the development of SaaS applications for post-trade technology and Capital Markets. They are seeking an experienced/senior Java Developer to join their team and contribute to the development of high-quality Capital Markets systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with in-house systems while gaining exposure to modern technologies and complex financial markets. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of a rapidly growing trading platform, while deepening your understanding of core business domains and technology platforms. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Java Software Engineer with strong knowledge of Java, Spring, multithreading and RMI.

Key responsibilities

• Good experience using Java, SpringBoot, APIs
• Experience working in financial services
• A good understanding of Capital Markets and microservices
• Experience leading/senior role in an engineering team

They are looking for a Software Engineer with a background in financial services who is keen to remain hands-on with technology while bringing experience in leading and supporting other engineers. You will join a growing Software Engineering team, working on cutting-edge platforms across Trading and Capital Markets.
