Lead Software Engineer (Editor)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (Editor) based in Brazil.

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role focused on building a best-in-class ecommerce conversion editor while shaping how AI is embedded into the product experience. You will combine technical leadership with product thinking, guiding a team while continuing to write code and ship critical features yourself.

You will own the editor’s technical direction, delivery, production health, and AI-powered capabilities. A key part of the role is understanding where AI can genuinely improve page-building workflows, from content generation and layout suggestions to personalization and conversion optimization.

You will work closely with Product to define meaningful roadmap opportunities rather than simply executing predefined tickets. In a fast-moving environment, you will help establish AI-native development practices while maintaining strong engineering quality, reliability, and accountability.
