PL/SQL Developer

Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
• Advanced SQL skills, including performance optimization, SQL code analysis, and complex query development.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with version control systems, CI/CD tools, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• English proficiency at B2 level or above (mandatory).
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and innovative mindset.
• Availability for on-call support activities.
• Knowledge of Java or Python is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and understand business requirements, challenging assumptions and proactively proposing solutions.
• Develop new features and maintain and enhance existing applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Develop, analyse, and optimize SQL code, ensuring query and database performance.
• Design, implement, and execute tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications.
• Participate in on-call activities and ensure timely incident resolution when required.
• Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts within a multidisciplinary IT team.
• Work according to Agile methodologies, actively participating in team ceremonies and development processes.
• Use version control systems and CI/CD tools while following development best practices and TDD principles.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and propose technical solutions to enhance application performance and reliability.
• Develop additional skills in Java or Python according to project requirements.
