Surat Role Description The PROCUREMENT MANAGER – EXPORT is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for export-focused medical, surgical, and orthopedic product lines.

The role includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and documentation standards for international markets. The Procurement Manager will coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to maintain optimal inventory levels, support timely shipments, and manage cost-effective sourcing strategies.

Daily tasks involve monitoring market trends, analyzing procurement data, preparing reports, and implementing process improvements to strengthen the supply chain. The role also requires maintaining strong supplier relationships and resolving any supply, quality, or delivery issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, with experience in sourcing medical or healthcare-related products.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining supplier agreements.
• Analytical skills to assess pricing, cost structures, market trends, and supplier performance for informed decision-making.
• Knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance for international markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or logistics are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Surat, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Prior experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role in exports, healthcare, or manufacturing is highly beneficial.
