Job Description

Lead all purchasing activities for the plant, covering direct and indirect spend categories.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support business objectives, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.

Drive supplier development, performance management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and commercial agreements.

Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality, service, and compliance standards.

Support CAPEX projects through sourcing, bidding, and supplier selection processes.

Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Lead and develop the local purchasing team while promoting procurement practices.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree or above.

Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in a multinational manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibilities.

Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

Exposure to industrial manufacturing, metals, machinery, energy, automotive, or related sectors is preferred.

Experience With ERP Systems (SAP Preferred).

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese.

Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and international environment
