Sales Development Representative, German-speaking

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the sales team at a seed-stage AI communications SaaS company and own the German-speaking top of the funnel. You will qualify inbound interest, create opportunities for Account Executives, and help refine the team's sales development approach, with potential to progress into an Account Executive role based on performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage German-speaking leads from first contact through qualification and handoff to an Account Executive.
• Prioritize and follow up with inbound leads generated by marketing.
• Conduct multi-channel outreach using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
• Build, test, measure, and improve outreach sequences and sales hypotheses.
• Improve SDR workflows and processes in a fast-growing startup environment.
• Support customer onboarding as part of the sales handover.
• Build toward an Account Executive opportunity through strong sales performance.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 1 year of sales experience, ideally in outbound sales or telesales. Promising junior candidates with limited experience may also be considered.
• Native-level German and strong professional spoken and written English.
• Experience with multi-channel outreach and designing, testing, and improving sales sequences.
• B2B SaaS sales experience is an advantage.
• A competitive, output-focused approach, comfort with startup pace, and motivation to develop sales processes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: €60,000 to €90,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

This is an on-site position based in Vienna, Austria.
