Senior AI Platform Engineer – Lisboa, Coimbra ou Braga

Horário: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale AI-driven engineering platforms that improve developer productivity across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key

Responsibilities:

-Design and implement AI agents and agentic workflows across the SDLC. -Develop AI agent orchestration, MCP integrations and context engineering solutions. -Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails and quality controls. -Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and developer tooling. -Integrate AI-powered workflows with enterprise systems such as Jira and source control platforms.

Requirements:

-8+ years of software engineering experience, including senior or lead-level responsibilities. -Proven experience building and deploying AI agents in production environments. -Strong background in Platform Engineering, DevOps and CI/CD. -Proficiency in Python and TypeScript. -Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP or equivalent) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar). -Experience developing internal developer platforms, CLIs or workflow engines. -Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously. -Minimum C1 English proficiency. -Candidates must currently reside in Portugal.

Important: Experience limited to proof-of-concepts or theoretical knowledge of AI agents is not sufficient.

Nice to Have:

-Experience with Cursor, Claude Code or similar AI development tools. -Knowledge of Kotlin, Go, Rust, knowledge graphs or code intelligence. -Experience with BDD/Cucumber, contract testing or mobile test automation (Maestro). -Experience improving engineering productivity through automation at scale.
