Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model As a Senior Angular/Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading banking group committed to transforming credit risk management. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of WatchList, a crucial application built to improve risk assessment and compliance processes, shaping the future of financial security.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Java backend components within the Credit Risk system.
• Design and implement intuitive Angular-based frontend interfaces to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions in line with project requirements.
• Integrate continuous integration tools like Jenkins, XL Deploy, and XL Release to optimize deployment workflows.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support data-driven decision-making.
• Utilize Git and Maven for version control and build automation, ensuring code integrity.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Support ongoing system improvements by conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Angular and Java.
• Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming languages.
• Proficiency with Spring framework tools (Spring Core, Spring Boot).
• Extensive experience with Angular framework (3–6 years).
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Solid SQL skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications or additional expertise in credit risk or financial technology.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English
