Senior Business Analyst Location: Co. Westmeath, Ireland Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join an established organisation operating within the engineering sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Business Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimise business processes and deliver technology-enabled solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business needs into practical solutions, supporting systems integration, process improvement and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead business analysis activities across process optimisation, automation and systems enhancement initiatives.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and workflows.
• Support systems integration across ERP, CRM, APIs and other business applications.
• Contribute to solutions involving Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps and Microsoft 365.
• Develop and support Power BI dashboards and reporting to improve business visibility and decision-making.
• Analyse existing processes and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency, governance, data quality and consistency.
• Work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and deliver measurable value.
• Support testing, implementation, change adoption and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate complex requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and business process analysis.
• Demonstrable experience documenting business requirements, workflows and process improvements.
• Experience working with business systems, integrations and technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms, APIs and systems integration.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Microsoft 365 and/or Power BI would be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
