Senior Editor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Editor based in United States.

This part-time contract role supports the planning, editing, and production of a leading publication focused on alpinism, climbing, and mountain exploration. You will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and volunteer contributors to shape compelling, accurate, and publication-ready stories. The position combines reporting, long-form editing, research, fact-checking, and digital publishing across multiple channels.

You will also contribute to photo and caption preparation, online stories, newsletters, and podcast-related research. This is an opportunity to bring strong editorial judgment and deep climbing knowledge to a respected specialist publication. The contract runs from November 2026 through April 2027, with potential for renewal and an expanded scope.
