Senior Engineering Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager based in India.

Take a leading role in building next-generation agentic AI systems from the ground up, shaping the architecture and engineering practices behind autonomous, multi-step AI workflows. You will lead a team of 10–15 engineers working across large language models, agent orchestration, tool integration, and production infrastructure.

This role combines strategic technical leadership with hands-on engineering involvement, from architectural decisions to code reviews and delivery oversight. You will help introduce an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AIDLC), transforming how engineering teams design, build, test, and deploy software.

You will also establish robust evaluation, observability, reliability, and safety frameworks for AI systems operating in dynamic environments. Working closely with product leaders and senior stakeholders, you will turn ambiguous business challenges into scalable, production-ready solutions while developing a high-performing engineering team.
