Senior Front-End Developer (m/f)

Horário: Full-Time

IT House is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer for a direct placement with an end client in the Transport & Logistics sector, located in Porto.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of a next-generation charter and transport planning platform;
• Act as the technical frontend lead within the project team, driving architectural decisions;
• Design, evaluate and evolve maintainable and robust frontend applications;
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, coding standards and automated testing;
• Drive technical excellence by promoting continuous improvement, modern tooling and CI/CD practices;
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX experts to deliver intuitive and performant solutions;
• Act as a role model for accountability, quality awareness and strong engineering practices;
• Identify, assess and mitigate technical risks, including performance, security and scalability concerns.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, with 7+ years of professional development experience;
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a background in designing enterprise web frontends;
• Deep knowledge of frontend architecture patterns and cloud-ready solutions;
• Strong proficiency in Angular and Git; good knowledge of UI/UX principles is a plus;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-reasoned technical decisions;
• Ability to take ownership and lead development teams, promoting best practices and technical excellence;
• Structured approach to work and strong problem-solving mindset;
• Good English skills and ability to collaborate effectively in an agile environment.
