Senior Network Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Network Engineer based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a major enterprise network transformation initiative for a large government organization. In this role, you will lead complex network migrations involving Juniper MX960 routers and the transition from MC-LAG to EVPN/VXLAN architectures.

You will combine hands-on implementation with network architecture design to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure. Working closely with network engineering teams, you will oversee critical production cutovers while minimizing service disruptions. This remote, 12-month contract offers the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation project, with potential for extension.

Quarterly travel to Philadelphia and occasional after-hours support are expected.
