Role Description As a Senior React Native Developer at AuctionNow, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that power our buyer and seller experiences. You will translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into robust, scalable features, write clean and testable code, and ensure smooth performance across Android and iOS devices.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, reviewing code, mentoring less experienced developers, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will troubleshoot issues, optimize app performance, and participate in the full development lifecycle from planning through deployment and maintenance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and mobile application development for Android and iOS.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, working with backend services, and handling state management (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and component-based architecture.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development workflows.
• Ability to debug complex issues, optimize performance, and write unit/integration tests.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and contributing to technical design.
• Understanding of security, data privacy, and best practices for handling user data in mobile applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or consumer-facing digital products is a plus.
