FMC Research Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer who enjoys building reliable, scalable systems and solving real-world technical challenges.

This role is ideal for a senior developer who wants to have a strong impact on system architecture, application development, technical decisions, and mentoring , while working with modern technologies across web, cloud, mobile, and hardware-integrated solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Develop solutions using Python, FastAPI and React .
• Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and technology decisions.
• Design reliable database, caching, queueing, and asynchronous processing solutions.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development activities.
• Mentor and support junior developers.
• Support deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based environments.
• Work on integrations involving mobile applications, cloud platforms, APIs, and peripheral hardware.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience in full-stack development and system architecture
• Hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, and React
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of databases, cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
