Senior Software Engineer (Node.js/Python)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js/Python) based in Romania.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help build the backend and AI-enabled systems powering an innovative technology platform in the electric mobility space. You will design, develop, and operate reliable web services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python. The role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, distributed systems, and scalable backend development.

You will work closely with AI engineers to operationalize AI solutions and integrate them into production-ready services. Collaboration spans product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and external partners in a fast-moving, highly integrated environment. You will also influence technical standards, mentor colleagues, and continuously improve engineering practices and processes.
