Job Description: Senior Software Engineer – Payment Systems Required Skills: Payment Systems (Wire, ACH, RTP), REST APIs, Microservices, Distributed Systems, Backend Processing, Angular/React/Vue, Docker, Kubernetes Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in payment systems, backend processing, API development, and distributed architectures. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, secure, and reliable payment solutions, with knowledge of event-driven architectures, concurrency, and modern frontend frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain payment processing solutions supporting Wire Transfers, ACH, and Real-Time Payments (RTP).
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for secure, scalable, and reliable applications.
• Develop backend processing services with a strong focus on distributed systems, concurrency, thread safety, and performance optimization.
• Implement event-driven architectures to support asynchronous processing and system integration.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Integrate internal and third-party systems through APIs and ensure reliable data exchange.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure application reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability through testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Follow specification-driven development practices to improve consistency, traceability, and code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in payment processing systems, particularly Wire Transfers, ACH, and RTP.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and backend service development.
• Experience with distributed systems, concurrency management, and thread-safe programming.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous and event-driven processing.
• Frontend development experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with API integrations and distributed application troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build reliable, high-performance systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, or fintech payment platforms.
• Knowledge of specification-driven development and related engineering practices.
• Experience designing high-volume, low-latency payment processing systems.
