Kadence Talent is partnered with a Life Sciences Group in SF, looking for a Senior or Staff-level Cloud Platform Engineer, 4 days per week in-office, South San Fran.
This hire will be brought in to build the next generation of ML infrastructure for a cutting-edge scientific R&D organization.
You’ll own the GCP platform and help researchers train and deploy frontier ML models at scale, including:
- GCP architecture and Terraform
- GKE administration for GPU/TPU workloads
- Secure cloud environments and automated guardrails
- Developer “paved paths” and platform migrations
- Compute capacity, observability and FinOps
We’re looking for strong Python, Kubernetes, IaC and CI/CD experience. Experience supporting ML or HPC workloads is highly valuable, but no biology background is required.
Location
San Francisco Bay Area, four days onsite Compensation: $220k–$290k base + two annual cash bonuses
