Vivax is a Turkish medical-AI company building one of the world's first clinical world models — our core mission — together with Türkiye's first native medical large language model, surgical intelligence, smart campus systems, and digital health products. Founded by two medicine-computer engineering dual-degree graduates from Acıbadem University and backed by the TÜBİTAK 1812 BiGG grant, we focus exclusively on healthcare AI software. Our team combines clinicians, engineers, scientists, and designers shipping production systems that hospitals and clinicians actually use.

About The Role

Build the production systems that plug Vivax's AI into real hospital infrastructure — from HL7 FHIR APIs and EHR connector middleware to the clinical dashboards that physicians rely on daily.

What you'll do

• Ship features end-to-end across React, TypeScript, and Node/Express for clinical-facing products
• Build and maintain HL7 FHIR R4-compatible APIs and resource mappers for hospital EHR integration (Epic, Mirth Connect, etc.)
• Develop raw integration middleware: HL7 v2/v3 message parsers, FHIR resource normalizers, and hospital connector pipelines
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas with Drizzle ORM; handle performance-critical queries on clinical datasets
• Contribute to the hospital onboarding pipeline: device provisioning, tenant setup, and monitoring dashboards
• Participate in code reviews and architecture decisions on production systems

What we're looking for

• Comfortable with TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred)
• Experience building REST APIs and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL a plus)
• Interest in healthcare data standards (HL7 FHIR, DICOM) — deep expertise not required, we teach on the job
• Care for clean code, testing, and disciplined Git hygiene
• Bonus: experience with healthcare system integrations, Mirth Connect, HL7 v2 messaging, or FHIR-compatible systems
