Software Engineer / Data Engineer

Role Description We are seeking technically skilled and analytical professionals for the positions of Software Engineer / Data Engineer . These roles focus on software development, data infrastructure, system integration, data processing, and the delivery of reliable technology solutions. As a Software Engineer , you will contribute to designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet business and technical requirements. As a Data Engineer , you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that support data collection, processing, storage, and analysis. Responsibilities include integrating data from multiple sources, building automated data workflows, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, software developers, and business teams to deliver reliable and accessible data resources. Additional duties may include developing ETL or ELT processes, maintaining data warehouses, monitoring pipeline performance, troubleshooting data quality issues, and implementing data validation procedures.

You will also contribute to data architecture improvements, workflow automation, and the development of scalable data solutions that support reporting and informed decision-making.

Both positions require effective technical communication, accurate documentation, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL, database management, and data modeling is advantageous for both positions.
• Understanding of APIs, version control, debugging, and software testing practices.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, data integration, and workflow automation is beneficial for Data Engineer roles.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, distributed systems, or big data technologies is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant technical documentation tools.
