• About the Roll We are hiring an Oracle Developer for a multinational company operating in the insurance sector in Egypt. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle APEX, with knowledge of APIs and system integrations
• Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle-based applications using SQL and PL/SQL
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle APEX applications
• Create and optimize database objects, including procedures, functions, packages, and queries
• Integrate Oracle applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and web services
• Troubleshoot technical issues, debug code, and improve application performance
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Support application testing, deployment, maintenance, and technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant Oracle development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Practical experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
• Experience developing Oracle APEX applications
• Knowledge of Oracle Database concepts and performance optimization
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in the insurance sector is preferred
