Sr. SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. SQL Database Administrator (DBA) based in United States.

This is a fully remote, contract opportunity supporting a federal customer’s enterprise SQL database environment. As a Senior SQL Database Administrator and Subject Matter Expert, you will oversee the administration, operations, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical database environments.

The role spans Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Cluster environments across both on-premises and cloud infrastructure. You will take ownership of complex troubleshooting, performance tuning, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, security, and database automation initiatives. The position also involves close collaboration with technical teams and customer stakeholders to resolve issues and improve database reliability.

Working hours are aligned with Eastern Time, with occasional after-hours support required for maintenance and patching activities. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.
