STD Claims Examiner

This role is responsible for managing short-term disability claims from initial investigation through adjudication and resolution, ensuring accurate decisions and timely support for claimants and client organizations. You will interpret policy provisions, evaluate medical and financial information, calculate benefits, and coordinate claim-related services.

The position combines detailed claims analysis with proactive communication and case management to support appropriate outcomes. You will work closely with claimants, policyholders, physicians, technical specialists, and internal teams throughout the claims process. The role also involves coordinating transitions from short-term to long-term disability when appropriate and escalating cases that exceed your authority.
