Strategic Project Lead, Demand Side

ABOUT THE ROLE

A pre-seed AI talent marketplace is seeking a Strategic Project Lead to grow its demand side, working with companies seeking talent. You will own the journey from finding prospective clients through onboarding and activation, while developing a repeatable growth engine and building experience for broader business ownership.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage company acquisition end to end, from prospecting and initial conversations to onboarding and activation.
• Build relationships with startup founders, executives, and talent leaders, and understand their hiring needs.
• Develop multichannel go-to-market efforts through outbound, referrals, partnerships, events, and content.
• Write and optimize email and LinkedIn outreach, make cold calls, and conduct personalized prospecting.
• Test messaging, channels, customer segments, and commercial approaches, then turn effective experiments into repeatable processes.
• Partner with talent and product teams to improve matching quality, client experience, and marketplace liquidity.
• Track the demand funnel, identify bottlenecks, and improve conversion across its stages.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1 to 7 years of professional experience, including at least 1 to 2 years in a client-facing, commercial, consulting, operations, or growth role.
• Professional project management experience and a record of working in a fast-paced environment, such as a venture-backed startup, consulting, investment banking, or venture capital.
• Experience with outbound prospecting, including cold calls, outreach sequences, or highly personalized messages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, relationship-building ability, and comfort balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
