About The Role

Join the EPSA team and build your hands-on experience in a practical workshop and yard environment.

We’re looking for a motivated Trades Assistant to join our team in Port Moresby, PNG . This is a hands-on role supporting our Service Technicians and helping keep our workshop, yard and equipment organised, safe and ready for work

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist Service Technicians with workshop and yard activities
• Help prepare, organise and tag equipment
• Load and unload equipment and complete associated paperwork
• Assist with pre-delivery inspections
• Clean and prepare equipment
• Support stock control, receipting and issuing of materials
• Complete minor repairs under the guidance of experienced technicians
• Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas
• Support equipment, warranty and commissioning record keeping

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who brings both capability and a collaborative mindset.

Required

• Practical or mechanical aptitude
• Previous stores, yard or trades assistant experience
• A strong safety mindset
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Full driver's licence
• Forklift licence and First Aid certification are an advantage
